everyone back at mv is like swamped. meanwhile, i'm often bored for lack of stuff to do. reminds me of the good old days when i had so much going on that even finding 20 min a weekend to help my dad pick persimmons or something was a strain. life was dense. something is wrong with this picture. why do little kids (relatively speaking? lol) get so swamped that they cant even think straight anymore, when the almost adults can easily find time to hang out and mess around literally everyday? (disclaimer: i am speaking from personal experience and dont claim to speak for everyone. i know not everyone experiences this.) life is weird. society is weird. ok fine ill be straightforward. society is messed up. i could complain a lot, but that doesnt do much, so i wont list everything i think is wrong with america. college being easier than high school the very least of these, if its even on the list.

it's ok, ill have an essay to write next week.

oh and i dont mean that the course content is easier than it was at mv. its def not. but the workload is much easier.

  1. me being in SJSU, i have to agree. And plus, its freshmen year. why not take it easy, slowly getting used to college rather then starting with a dead sprint. stop complaining. its only because that we come from MV that college seems like a joke. Others find that their lives are filled with work compared to HS. It is only Cupertino that makes "little kids" undermine their childhood by piling up assignments after assignments. Take the opportunity to relax and learn something new because once you start taking upper divison courses, you will wish for that 20 minute break.

  7. when you focus on seeing the people around you and taking action to love them, you are never bored.

  8. that is true. i lose focus too easily. also not sure how to love them when everyone is absorbed in their own studying.

  10. yeah definitely seek Him for help and work through Him. take care of their health. and like the Good Samaritian, have pity, so that your heart may feel what they feel and take action.
